Roles and Prospects in Industry and Commerce
The Act East Policy Affairs Department, Government of Assam have been playing a pivotal role in the industrial and commercial sector of the entire North-East India. Several trade fairs and exhibitions have been held at the initiative of the AEPA Department besides collaborating with some international organizations like the Mekong Institute, ESCAP (Economic and Social Commission for Asia and Pacific) etc.to develop trade and commerce across the entire South-East Asian region.
